Select splats and organize them into groups to control individual parts of your capture. Groups also drive Avengers and Assemble.

• Lasso: enable the icon beside Open File, then drag around an area or click to pick a splat. Clicking empty space clears the selection. The heading shows how many splats are selected.
• + / − / ×: add to, subtract from, or intersect the current selection. Click the active mode again to return to replacing the selection. Shift adds, Ctrl subtracts, and Shift+Ctrl intersects.
• New group: create a group from the selected splats. Ungroup: return selected splats to Ungrouped. Clear: clear the selection without deleting splats or groups.
• Tint: show group colors on the capture. Selected splats are highlighted in pink.
• Group rows: change colors, select a group's splats, and use the row controls to change membership, order, visibility, or remove a group. Ungrouped contains splats outside named groups.
• Axis: the XYZ button beside a color gives that group a reference frame - an origin and a rotation, drawn in the viewport and edited in Transform. It never moves a splat. One axis is editable at a time; click the lit one again to give Transform back to the capture. Avengers drops each group in along its axis's +Y and compresses the landing against its origin, so a group with the world axis still arrives from straight above.
• Navigation while selecting: use the middle mouse button to orbit and the right button to pan. On touch screens, two fingers orbit and pinch to zoom; three fingers pan.
• Data: expand to copy or save group JSON, or paste it back in. Open a matching JSON together with its splat to restore groups.
